- "After receiving your note of the 7th inst last Friday P.M. I did not expect to hear from you as soon again so did not get my mail till yesterday afternoon when I received your telegram. I was very sorry that one could not go in consequentce. Will it be convenient to you if I call next Tues. A.M. (12th prop) and bring my friend who will try some vocal and instrumental music?
