- Editor's Notes
- We have today sent you copy of our pamphlet--the Perfected Phonograph. There is in this pamphlet but one reference to the Graphophone. Please, therefore, do not let this book get out of your own hands as we know Lippincott would insist on our suppressing it should it fall into his hands as owing to his contract with the Graph people the Graphophone must be mentioned every time the Phonograph is--he read this clause of his contract to writer. But, our contract with him contains no such proviso and consequently we feel at liberty to do what in our opinion furthers our own interest. ### If you can spare time, think the reading of the pamphlet will bring out some new points to you. Yours, Gaston & Marsh by Marsh [PS] Have written John Ott a letter and asked him to show you
