Title
[D8847ADR], Letter from Hugo A Strong to Thomas Alva Edison, December 8th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"Last October I forwarded to my brother the accountant of the Bank of Egypt Alexandria, one of your new phonograph cylinders, made of cardboard and covered with some dark lustrous substance. It was partly "written" upon and I merely sent it as a curiosity. I have just received a letter from him telling me that a number pieces of the substance had some off in transit. Thinking the knowledge of the fact may be of service to you" I remain yours truly Hugo A. Strong
