- Editor's Notes
- "I am organizing the Company here [NYC] under the name of The North American Phonograph Co. and I trust this will meet with your approval. I explained to Mr. Tomlinson today the reasons for doing this, the papers are in my attorneys hands and unless you seriously object to the name the organization will be completed on Monday. I am going to my place in the Allegheny Mountains tonight where I have a very sick boy (my only one( who is dangerously ill with Diptheria, he is somewhat better today and if everything is favorable I will return Monday night. In case you object to inserting the name North (and I sincerely hope you will not) please wire me to Conemaugh Lake Penna tomorrow as I shall have to stop the papers by wire."
