Editor's Notes
"I beg to introduce to you herewith Mr. E.T. Gilliland the agent of Mr. Edison who goes to Berlin at my request to explain the working of the new Edison phonograph to you. The gentleman will take with him one instrument for presentation to you chief, Dr. Werner von Siemens, Postmaster General Stephan and Prince Bismark. ### You will no doubt be glad to render such assistance to the gentleman as he will need to enable him to make the presentation to the last two distinguished personages. Any other attention you may be good enough to show him will also be appreciated by." Yours truly, H. Villard [TAE mart: "OK"]
