Title
[D8849ACG], Letter from Thomas Bernardr Connery to Thomas Alva Edison, November 1st, 1888
Editor's Notes
"Fox has consummated agreement with Gouraud on the basis of $50 per machine and one third the stock. Where are some conditions added of which I am not informed. ### Gouruad has thus made it extremly difficult to do anything in Mexico, his figure is so high and his stock demand so extraordinary. ### When I tell you that the Tainter people give for same territory for $20 per machine, you will understand the difficulty in competing. Gouraud ought to give at the current formidible figure and crowd out all competition." In haste, yours sincerely, Thomas B. Connery
