"I this day received a leter from a friend from which give you an extract. "The Sultan of Turkey has forwarded through his Grand Vizier an urgent request for one of Edison's Improved Phonographs, and our friend to whom the request is addressed is very anxious to obtain one, and send it to Constantinople as a present.
