Title

[D8852AAE], Letter from Frederick W Jones to Thomas Alva Edison, January 16th, 1888

Editor's Notes

"In the event of a contest between the Western Union Tel Co and an outside Company what stand will you take in respect to Nicholson's Quadruplex patents of December 1885 which are prima facie the basic patents to your inventions in this line? Are you going to look on without an effort to place yourself right in the matter? Now perhaps you have lost sight of me as I have not been at your office for some years yet you will remember me as assisting your plan your Western interests...." TAE marg: "Tate: Tell him I remember him well & that I don't know what I shall do as I haven't thought of the Quad in years."
