Editor's Notes
"No 3 has been working very well since 1K PM the increase of battery has of course been a decided benefit and I am encouraged to think that you will be able to rmeove all interference which of course is a very essential thing. If you feel that the additional Phones at [unclear] can be put on without further detriment to working of wire pls proceed to do so. You will of course appreciate the importance of our through wires being kept in a first class working condition. I will be absent four or five days. I will be here upon arrival of fast Line if on time but you are at liberty to make any change here which you feel would be a benefit. The interference to Nos when Pgh Phone is in should be eliminated if possible but as Mr Schaeffer proposes working it on No 8 wire as soon as completed it will probably not be necessary to press the matter very much."
