Title
[D8853ABA], Letter from William S Logue to Alfred Ord Tate, January 31st, 1888
Editor's Notes
"By adding 72 cells of battery at Harrisburg yesterday we succeeded in getting the Morse to work very satisfactorily yesterday and today and I think the bug has at last been removed. We measured the wire tonight it showed up 10655 ohms according to W U allowing 30 ohms to each cell of battery. The wire requires 355 cells. Since the increase at Harrisburg there is now 280 cells on it. ### Battery for Phones. ### I have not as yet received the 12 cells of battery ordered last week to be sent to W. F. Taylor at this place, please hurry it forward." Yours very truly, W.S. Logue [Marginalia: "Ans Feb 2/88"]
