Title
[D8853AEU], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Bergmann & Co, October 13th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"I understand that in a very few days, if they have not already done so, the Pennsylvania R.R. will order from you 50 cells Bunsen battery, for stock. They have complained about the carbon clamps being eaten away by the solution, and ask if they could obtain longer carbons than are usually supplied by you. I presume that you can get carbons an inch or two longer, but would like to hear from you on the subject." Yours very truly, [unsigned] [header has been crossed out]
