Title
[D8856ACC], Letter from R J Pratt, Electric Manufacturing Co to West Orange Laboratory, February 15th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"Replying to your favor of the 13th just at hand. The two 'J3' Bridge Boxes ordered by you have been completed for some time with the exception of the comparison test of each coil as asked for by you. As we wish to give you very accurate work, and as it is impossible for us to keep a constant temperature during the extreme cold weather in our old laboratory and as our new laboratoy is not yet completed we have been trying to get this part of the work done at the Johns Hopkins University. The result is that we are looking for a telegram from Dr. Duncan daily, as he promised the writer to let us know as soon as they are ready for us, and on receipt of which telegram our Mr. Frey will leave Baltimore with the boxes and within a few days afterward you will have the boxes. ### Hoping you will pardon the seeming neglect in filling your order, we remain," Yours very truly, Electric MFG. CO. TROY, N.Y. "P.S. The thermometers have been obtained and fitted to the boxes as ordered." Noted A.E.K. 17.2.88
