Title
[D8856ACY], Letter from Queen (James W.) & Co to Thomas Alva Edison, June 29th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"We have received notice from White of the shipment of your Quadrant Electrometer in charge of the captain of the S.S. Prussia from Glasgow to this port. ### Please be kind enough to let us know how you would like this sent to you. For such an expensive and delicate instrument we think it would pay you to send a special messenger, as it might be ruined in transport with even the most careful management. ### We shall be pleased to have your opinion on the subject, and remain" Very Respectfully, James W. Queen & Co per H [Marginalia: "Ans June 30/88"]
