- Editor's Notes
- "The Quadrant Electrometer has arrived, but it is so large we find, being in two heavy boxes, that no messenger could carry it. It seems to us therefore, that the best plan will be for us to give it specially in charge of the express agent here, paying something extra to him if necessary to claim his personal care, and for you to have the train met by some of your people and the instruments carefully removed. ### Please let us know at once if this plan meets with your approval." Very Respectfully, James W. Queen & Co. per H. [Marginalia: "Ans Telegraph July 10/88"]
