"Your letter to Mr. Pearson 14th ins. Was duly recd and I report that your present experiments have not enabled you to order [unclear]. ### I return to suggest a line of experiment, where it seems likely to be useful to you, in hardening wax, oils &c. imparting in degree its high melting point especially the A. grade ### I send herewith severall lumps of a black acid proof compound and one of equal weights [unclear] and Parafine, as illustration" Very truly yours Henry W.
