Title
[D8905ADN], Letter from James Thomas Edwards to Thomas Alva Edison, May 27th, 1889
Editor's Notes
Mr. Thomas A. Edsion, Dear Sir--You have twice kindly suggested that --if I could run down to your place you would contribute a quantity of philosophical (especially electriity apparatus which might be made highly useful in the work of my department at Chautaqua which you remember in the Department of Experimental Science especially in relatino to Physics and Chemistry. I am very anxious to avail myself of your offer and if you will name a time when it would be agreeable to you for me to come. I will adapt myself to your convenience. At our last trustee meeting Mr. Lewis Miller told me perhaps he would go down with me.##Among the wonders of the age is your new Phonograph. Cannot you "post-me" and let me show THAT this summer at Chautaqua? Please give my compliments to Mrs. Edison & believe me, with great respect, truly yours, J. Edwards [Name mentions:Mina Edison, JT Edwards]
