- Aime Laussedat to TAE [in French with translation]: sends the photograph that Edison has done him the honor to request, and asks for Edison's photo in return. He also hopes that Edison remembers his intention to donate some new things that he exhibited at the Champs de Mars to the Conservatoire National des Arts & Metiers. He regrets having been obliged to leave Paris before having the "pleasure of doing you the honors of the Conservatoire as I had hoped after our first ingterview at the Banquet of the Demi-Centennial of Photography.
