Title
[D8907AAJ], Letter from Horace Townsend to Alfred Ord Tate, February 20th, 1889
Editor's Notes
The photos arrived today and are very nice. The two however which the "Cosmpolitan" people especially desired are wanting, views, namely of the "galvanometer & photometer room" and of the Lecture Room. Can you not by hook or crook get these for me? I will remember thee in my prayers if you do so.##I am sorry to say that I have just received a telegram from Lathrop in which he deplores the impossibility of going out to you and accepting your kind invitation for tomorrow. I think we can manage it in a few days and will give you a couple of days notice if you will allow us so to do. Yours ever sincerely Horace Townsend P.S. If you can won't you run in to Newark this week and have a look at my play. It is called "Myles Aroon" and is played by one Scanlan. It is not of course but seems immensely popular.
