- Editor's Notes
- Dear Mr. Edison: In conversation today with the managing Editor of the New York World I suggested to him that it would be good journalism for him to publish a three or four column article on the Edison exhibits at the Paris Expostion. He immediately favored the idea and requested me to write the article. Although I am extremely busy with my professional engagements at the present time I condluded to accept the work. If agreeable to you therefore I will go to the laboratory on Monday morning and devote all the time necessary to obtain the material for a good article. I would suggest that you have your Secretary collate all the material and statistics together with such photographic views as you desire (for the article will be illustrated) so that I can have the ms. Ready for wednesdays issue. I will endeavor to make the article worthy of your approbation. Sincerely yours Edwin M Fox [Ans. May 13/89 by Maguire LB029383]
