- Editor's Notes
- "The Phonographic Press" is the name of a proposed Philadelphia periodical, to be deovted to the interests of stenogrpahers and type-writer operators. ## The first number, whic hwill doubtless be in teh printers' hands by the latter part of August, we would like to have unusually bright and readable. ## With this in view, we know of nothing that would add greater interest to its pages than a contribution from Thomas A. Edison. ## Mr. Henry Unz, who tells me he has had some business dealings with yourself, suggests that it is quite possible you could do something for us. [James Clephane already writing something for us]
