- Editor's Notes
- The next meeting of the institute will be held, as you are aware, at Washington D.C.. I hope you will be able to be present, and I need not say that anything you might present in the line of a paper would be most welcome. # Whether that would be fi[--]ith or not, could you not arrange to have a phonograph at the meeting, with a few appropriate remarks from you in its little insides? Have you got any good instruments in Washington now that could be relied on to do [------] to a company of say 100 or 150? # The meeting with begin Feby 18, and there will be a subscription banquet on the evening of the 20th or 21st (can let you know the precise date in a few days). I want a machine to reply from you, when you are toasted in a speech about 15 minutes long. It should be a surprise. Can you arrange it?
