- Your two favors fo the 19 and 21 instants duly at hand, for which please accept my thanks.##In reply to that of the 21, regarding my going to Japan would say that I have written to my father for his advice before giving you a definite answer, and that I should like to know how long a time they should want me to remain in Japan and whether I would be expected to take chage of their electrical engineering or have that work act as secondary to the phonograph, also any other information you may be able to give.##Will you kindly send your answer to my father Dr A.
