- "The presentation of your note to the Supr. Of the Phonograph factory received for me a situation therein I did not ([-]) to appraise you of the ([-]) as I did not wish to again ([-]) you and I take this method of thanking you for the kindness and consideration thus shown by you to a stranger in ([-]), and in the very unpromising condition in which I appeared before you. I have few working steadily in the shop since last Friday and hope by faithful and conscientious work to quiz you no occasion to ([-]) your kindness to me, a ([-]) lawyer, adventures etc. but me who never did a dishonest act. ### Again thanking you for giving me a sherd, for which I ([-)] to make some acknowledgment."
