- Title
- [D8914AAP], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Samuel Insull, May 31st, 1889
- Editor's Notes
- "When I was in your office on Wednesday last, I observed that you made room in Schenectady for and ambitious young man. Here is a letter from Mr. O. D. Law Dow, Dep’t. Of Agriculture, Washington, in regard to his nephew, who appears to be an exceptionally brilliant young man. Can you not give him a trial at your works? Mr. La Dow’s earnestness has attracted me, which is my reason for referring this matter to you, and whatever your decision may be, will you kindly communicate with Mr. La Dow."
