- Editor's Notes
- You will remember the first foreman of the tool room at the Phonograph Work. under Mr. Keller and when I left I think I was capable of running that job but I could not get along with Mr. Batechelor so I thought the best thing for me to do was to leave. Now I have not had any good luck since. I wish to ask you if you have some kind of a job for me where I can make myself useful in any place except the Works. I am a good tool maker also have experimented some can work on instruments. If you cannot do any thing for me I hope you would not refuse to give me a recommendation which would help me a great deal. As you know in every place you go the bosses want to see a good reference. Or if you could refer me to some PH. F. g. concern where you have some influence I would be very much obliged to you. Enclosed you will find envelope addressed and stamped. ([marg.: As you ([-]) named me the 10/1000 friend)]
