- Editor's Notes
- Here is a letter from Arthur W. Langford. I offered this young man ten dollars a week to come here and take charge of the door down stairs, and in addition to that, take up the work which young Miller has been doing in the way of pricing orders, receiving and shipping goods etc., so as to relieve Miller and allow him to work with Randolph on the books. We have, in addition to the Laboratory books, those of the new manufacturing concerns in Bloomfield, and Randolph cannot handle it all, but can get along very nicely with Miller’s assistance, and it is, therefore, necessary to relieve the latter. P.S. Young Lanford will come for $10 per week as soon as he can leave his present place. From his letter I think is a promising youth.])
