- [D8929AAJ], Letter from Frank Seymour Hastings, Edison Electric Light Co to Alfred Ord Tate, July 1st, 1889
- Editor's Notes
- I have again broken through my rule in sending letters of introduction to the Lab and have written a letter of introduction in favor of Agusto Matte which has been signed by Herrick. Matte is one of the most prominent gentlemen in Chile, having held a cabinet position and is now talked of for President. He is introduced to us by Ex-Mayor Grace and while we are sorry to trouble you we would like to show him some little attention while he is here and he is very anxious to go over the Lab. [[New name mention: Agusto Matte, Grace]
