Title
[D8930AAC], Letter from Samuel Insull to West Orange Laboratory, January 15th, 1889
Editor's Notes
Further referring to the matter of Compound, and more especially to that which is numbered 443, we find that this is very good indeed in all respects, except that the melting point should be somewhat higher. While it is sufficiently non-inflammable for ordinary line wires, it is not, however good enough for use in connection with flexible cords. Con you not make us up some extra fire-proof compound for use in connection with Flexible cords.
