Title
[D8932AAK], Letter from Henry W Seely to Alfred Ord Tate, June 26th, 1889
Editor's Notes
In regard to the Lalande Battery matter, I delayed sending the papers forward because I understood that Mr. P. S. Dyer was on the way here. I am writing him today about it, but it has occurred to me that if you are going to Europe, as I understand you are, you can probably do something about this while you are there. There is a question, as you know, about a bond to be entered into Lanade and I can probably explain the matter to you verbally so that more can be accomplished with it than by correspondence. I think you said you expected to sail on July 2nd, and if so very little time will be lost by waiting. I wish you would telephone me on Thursday morning about this and I will hold the papers now until I herar from you.
