Leonard & Izard####Consulting and Contracting Electrial Eingineers####Mr. Thomas A. Edison, Dear Sir--The C.B. & Q. railroad Co. you will remember made a test upon the Edison new lamps not long since. A life test upon Edison lamps, Sawyer-Mann, United states & Perkins lamps took place a day or two since, and thinking you may be interested in the various measurements of the best lamps made by various companies today, I send you herewith data of this character. All this data applies to the condition of the lamps as they started out upon the life test. This life test will be continued until the positive position of the various lamps as regards superiority is arrived at. If there are any points in connection with the lamps of various makers which you would like to have investigated, I will take pleasure in giving such mattters attention.
