Thos A Edison Esq., Orange N.J, My dear Mr. Edison:-- I send you tonight, by express, a statement from the New York World of Sunday last respecting the two Tonawandas; reports on the Water power of the U.S., being statistics of power and machinery employed in manufactures, by Professor W.P Trowbridge, prepared under the firection of Supt. Francis A. Walker; statistics of the trade and Commerce of Buffalo comprised in the annual report of the Buffalo Merchants Exchange, and Sketch of the Commerce, Industries and Resources of Buffalo. I shall move as rapidly as possible to furnish you with all the information you ask for. The Engineers have been instructed to prepare whatever you require with the least possible delay.
