Title
[D8936AAX], Letter from Edwin Ruthven Weeks, Edison Electric Light and Power Co (Kansas City) to Thomas Alva Edison, November 11th, 1889
Editor's Notes
Edison Electric Light and Power Company, kansas City, Nov. 11, 1889, Dictated Permit me to suggest that a most interesting subject for the discussion by phonograph which you kindly promised for the Kansas City convention in February would be "The Methods of Regulation and Distribution by the Five Wire System." This, in addition to being news, would be the best possible card for your interests in the West, where, in distribution from central stations, distances are greater than in the East, as business is more widely scattered.#####During the few weeks proceeding the convention, I intend to publish biographial sketches of some of the leading electrical men of America. With your permission I shall include your name in the list and hope to receive from Mr. Hicks some material as yet unpublished.####Hoping to hear from you at your convenience. I remain with best regards,
Recipient
