[Enclosure to D8938ABQ] The following extract is from a letter I received from Mr. P.S. Dyer, Antwerp, Belg., in regard to the Peiper Semi-incandescent lamp. I thought it would be of interest to you:####"Regarding the Pieper Semi-Incandescent Lamp, Henri Pieper, "Jr., the inventor of this lamp, writes me, and says that they "have not yet decided upon the steps to take, and cannot, at [res-ent give me any particulars as to what the lamp does, &c. The "Paris Company say that they have heard of it, but cannot furnish "any data, as they cannot get any. I asked Hammer to write you"direct all he could find out about it. H. Pieper has promised to give full information when he can. It seems to be kept quiet "at present."
