- [This is an enclosure from the previous entry, D8940AAW] Thomas A Edison, Esq. Menlo Park N.J Dear Sir On Jany 28/89 I ordered through one of your agents C.J. [Hubbell?] a 300 light dynamo with lamp and other material necessary to complete an isolated plant up to date the work has not been completed not withstanding two months have lapsed I have notified your company at their office and Mr. Hubbell has accosted me in every way to hurry the completion of the job without success, as a last resource I send this to you as the head official of the Edison United Co. hoping that you will spur your people up and complete the small amount of work necessary to commence [securing?] the plant an early reply will oblige Yours Respectfully Joseph Stern
