Title

[D8940ABF], Letter from Charles Edward Chinnock to Alfred Ord Tate, June 3rd, 1889

Editor's Notes

Somebody ought to drop a note to Mr. Baker of Boston and inform him that the scroll work is simply carbon filament, excepting where the lamps are connected and that these filaments are suppoed to be up to a reasonable amount of incandenscence so as to show the artistic work of the designer.####We are exceedingly obliged to you and also to Mr. Baker, and we feel quite positive that the armature will not be short-circuited as long as the filaments are of high resistance.
