7th October 1889####Dear Mr. Edison,####I hope that you received my telephone at havre, I sent it from Cologne. I was very sorry that I was not in England during your flying visit: but I hope that you will not put off your visit, next year, so late in the season. If you come to London in June you will find every thing, & every body, in full swing.####I hope that you had a good passage & that Mrs. Edison & you have reached from home safe & well.,####The enclosed [strange?] letter was o-----ed by me this morning believing it was for me, a rather for the Company.
