Editor's Notes

Dear Sir, Your Indian & Colonial Electric Light Patents. We wrote you on the 25th September with regard to the agreement by you of the patents to the Australasian Electric Light Power & Storage Company which that Company is most anxious to receive without delay. We wrote you again on the morning of the 26th of September and finding that you had left England we addressed another letter on the same day to the Hotel Durand, Paris, where we hoped it would have reached you. Having no reply, we cable you on the 7th of October to ask what had become of the deed of Assignment we had forwarded. We send you copies of the letters we addressed to you. We today again cabled you as on the other side of the request of the purchasing Company & we will kindly ask you, if you have not already done so to return us the deed if it has been received by you. If not, to let us know that you have not received it when another engrossment shall be sent to you at once.####We are sorry to be so importunate but the matter is of the utmost urgency for the Company.####We are, dear Sir,####Your very faithfully####Waterhouse, Winterbotham & Harrison####Copy cablegram####Edison, New York####Assignment Indian & Colonial Patents sent you September to Paris [wanted?] Has it reached your cable Waterhouse####[name mentions: Waterhouse, Winterbotham & Harrison, Indian & Colonial Electric Light Patents, Australasian Electric Light Power & Storage Company]
