Title
[D8946AAO], Letter from Exhibition. Paris Universal (1889). Revue, Francois Guillaume Dumas to Thomas Alva Edison, March 3rd, 1889
Editor's Notes
[Add name mention: Jules Simon and Alexandre Gustave Eiffel] It is our intention to publish in the "Revue de l'Exposition Universal" a series of articles upon the great intellectual and scientific movements of the century. The work will appear weekly during the period of the Paris Exhibition and will eventually form a volume of lasting interest. Pasteur, Alexandre Dumas, Jules Simon, Ernest Renan, Theodore de Banville, and Eiffel are among the eminent men who have already promised contribution. We feel the series of articles would not be complete without the subject of electrical science and you, the highest authority on the triumphs already achieved. We beg you will do us the honor of being allowed to include your name with those of our other contributors. # Marginalia says answered 3/25/89
