- Editor's Notes
- Your letter of April 30th to hand. I have reported to Edison your success and rapid progress. Regarding your arrangements with the French Edison Co, as mentioned in my letter of May 6th, you make will of course be subject to the approval of Dyer. I have spoken with Edison and he sees no objection to your letting the French Co have use of two phonographs, providing there is no charge for admission made by the French Co. He says whatever is done should be absolutely under your direction. Regarding the signs the French Co wants to put up and having a man to represent them in your space, you should have Dyer's approval, as he is more directly concerned. I see no reason why Dyer would not approve of having the French Co's name appear on signs considering their relations with the Edison Co.
