- Title
- [D8947AAQ], Letter from William E Hibble to Thomas Alva Edison, May 23rd, 1889
- Editor's Notes
- "Your favor of 17 inst received with check for two hundred dollars. I have enclosed bill for paint and sketch showing as nearly as possibly the style and giving quantities for each detail including laboratory fence and other buildings. I think the estimate ample but it will depend somewhat upon the selection of tints as very light ones will necessitate an extra cost. I have no means of ascertaining the bext value but probably via Key West as that way is all water." # Enclosure lists number of gallons and number of brushes. # Marginalia says "Write Mr. Hibble saying Mr. Edison has nothing to do with Mr. Gilliland's house. See if estimate includes his house."
