Title
[D8947ABB], Letter from William E Hibble to Alfred Ord Tate, December 26th, 1889
Editor's Notes
Dear Sir. Your favor of 20 inst recevied. With thanks for the instructions from Mr. Edison. I accept them with their literal translation and will endeavor to carry them out to the letter.##I only wish he had gone a step further and confined my services to his own individual "use benefit and behoof" which really should be as the work to be done on Mr. Edison's premises and grounds would fully occupy my time and I should feel better satisfied from the fact I was sitting on one stool.##I should be glad if this meets Mr. Edison's approbation. Still I don't want him to think me officious.##ishing everybody a Happy New Year I am Sir yours very truly William E. Hibble [ans Jan 3/89]
