- I am in receipt of your telegram asking if I could acompany you on Thursdsay or Friday to Putnam County New York, just as I am about leaving for Port Henry had I received it earlier this morning I would have changed my arrangement and if I find I can do so will wire you from New York. It would suit me better to go on Saturday or Monday than on the days you name for when I heard from Mr. Lee that it was unnecessary to make the visit to Maryland this week I made other arrangements buDepot and I can be there as early as 7 o'clock ## Please consider say telegraoms return tomorrow as taking the place of this my address in Pitt in of Milarde Shemmand.
