- I have your favor of the 9th. I certainly think you ought to write a letter to Mr. Dredge in Mr. Edison's name, approving of what he has done. I think it is a mistake to go to this expense at the moment in London, but it has been started and under these circumstances the only thing to be done is to pay for it, and the first thing to do is to assure the man who is attending to the matter that it will be paid for.
