Title

[D8952AAX], Letter from James Dredge to Thomas Alva Edison, February 16th, 1889

Editor's Notes

I have your telegram instructing me to send back Mr. Wiley to New York, and to give him enough money for current expenses. I will proabably send him by German Lloyds next Monday and will give him L5 for current expenses, which should be enough. I enclose you a prospectus you may not have seen, you can judge for yourself the chances of the success of the venture. I may tell you for your own information that the report they rely upon--that of Mr. C. W. Cooke--is made use of under his patent, and after the [?] time promit on the grant of the [protesters?] that is should be withdrawn.
