Title
[D8952ABS], Letter from James Dredge to Thomas Alva Edison, July 31st, 1889
Editor's Notes
Replying to yours of the 18th, there is some little mistake. Mr. O. S. Wiley never received from me any sums other than those I charged you with & which were all duly paid. I stated to Mr. W. H. Wiley that I feared that there would yet be expenses incurred in this matter, on account of storage of the separator, and shipment to whatever destination you may ultimately indicate, & I said that this would probably amount to [pound] 30. Mr. Wiley had a mistaken impression, & I suppose wrote you under that impression. I shall have nothing to charge to you, till I pay the above named items of storage & freight.
