[ENCLOSURE of letter from Jacob Langeloth of American Metal Co. Ltd.] Sorry not to reply earlier to the questions you put to me when we met last month in Metz; answers enclosed. Was waiting to try the experiments carried out according to your directions. Also enclose report of our chemist, Mr. Riedt. "I regret that the results of the experiment should have proved so unfavorable"; probably "the composition of the ores is not such as we believed." Was trying for separation of Oolites; will try again on larger scale. ## Mr. J. Laugcloth president of American Metal Co. will be in touch with you Encloses list of TAE's questions [and answers] about price, cost, composition of coal, coke, iron & ores (various types), labor, etc. [Enclosure follows with TAE's questions and Roideger's answers; one test by Riedt enclosed with the Langeloth and Roediger letters and a second test by Riedt was enclosed with Langeloth's letter of 11/13/89]
