Title
[D8954AAS], Letter from Henry W Seely to Thomas Alva Edison, February 16th, 1889
Editor's Notes
Your applicaation filed May 21 1888, for the one separating machine in which Electrical attraction is employed to lift the lighter particles against the force of gravity, contains claims on both the method of operation and the apparatus for doing it. The Patent Office requires a divisional application or to let the case soak for a while. It is not improbable that the practice in this respect may be changed when a new Commissioner comes int--Yours Truly H.W. Seelly
