Editor's Notes
Come any time####E####Law Officces of Edwin M. Fox####140 Nassau Street####New York Feby 20th 1889####T.A. Edison Esq;####Orange N.J.####Dear Mr. Edison;####Some days ago a lawyer friend of mine, knowing that I was interested in the New York State Phonograph Company, called my attention to a rather cruious feature in one of the tainter patnets which he had incidentally run across while engaged in a patent examination. My curiousity being around I sent for copies of all the Tainter and Bell phonographic patents, and made an EXTREMELY IMPORTANT legal discovery affecting your patent protection to the photograph and the same should be thoroughly explained to you without delay. It will give me pleasure to call at your laboratory any afternoon this week that you may appoint and explain the same.####Sincerely Yours####Edwin M Fox####P.S. Mr Connery writes me that he has news from the Government of Guatemala that you will be glad to hear.####EMF####[name mentions: Edwin M Fox, Mr Connery, Thos Edison, Charles Tainter, Chichester Bell, New York State Phonograph Company]
