- Editor's Notes
- I'm without anything from the lab; Miller told me that Lippincott said a young man, Frank Osborne, at the lab could rig up another machine & come to me tomorrow; says Lippincott said tell Edison to charge the machine to him; Lippincott said this morning I could keep the present one as long as I wanted, but it now goes with Miller; Ask TAE if he will have Osborne make another for me; I'm all rigged for some nice experimental work; expect to make a sensation with it for Sunday papers; Depew visited me 4 times yesterday; is intensely interested in the whole thing; he brings in just the sort of people Lippincott needs to see it; I expect him tonight with some of the Vanderbilts; will have to show him only an imperfect instrument not well handled. [New Name Mention: Frank Osborne].
