- Stewart writes a letter to Edison telloing him of a idea he has to prepare an endless tape record with wax or other substance as the receiving medium, into a very large reel, and it'll help prevent sticking and copies can easily separate. And he explains how he underatnds the difficulties and draws a diagram of his idea. And he hopes that he tries this experiment and all he wants is a portion then to close his contract with him and send the instrument.
